Current Outlook:

Our impeachment system is broken because...
• Mail-in voters have made the opposition win or lose with no supermajority with either not enough mail-in voters or got just enough mail-in voters to win
• Impeachment needs a 2/3 supermajority and we don't have much of the opposition crossing the floor for support of the impeachment
• Hardly anyone got impeached and the last impeachment happened before IncognitoGuy got nuked for the first time.

What we offer.

• There is a one-recall-per-term limitation.
• Mandatory polling twice every three weeks, making it 5 polls per term.
• The poll needs to indicate a low approval rating for the president (i.e. below 50%) for either the 2nd, 3rd or 4th poll, meaning we cannot recall the election in the 1st or last week of the term
• The recalling of election needs to be certified by the Stream Owner whether the proposed recall petition has met the quorum requirement.
• Upon the certification of a recall petition, a recall election shall be held no later than seven (7) days after the certification.
• Voting shall be held open for 48 hours.
• A citizen is eligible to vote in a recall election if the citizen meets the requirements to vote in a regularly-scheduled election.
• The recall ballot will propose just one question: "Should [current President] continue in office? Y/N." A President is removed by recall if upon the conclusion of the 48 hour voting period, "Yes" votes outnumber "No" votes by a simple majority.
• If the President is removed by recall, then the Vice-President assumes the office of President. To prevent abuse of the recall process, only one (1) recall election may be held during a President's term.
• The Head of Congress becomes the new VP and the HoS will become the new HoC.
• HoS is decided by the senate and they'll confirm the new HoS as proceeded according to Article 3, Section 4 of the constitution.
• Failed recall petitions (i.e. those which do not meet the quorum to proceed to a recall vote) do not affect the one-recall-per-term limitation.

Remember, Congress and Senate is combined so it'll be a 2/3 supermajority for both congress and senate combined because Surly's bill got passed meaning we can have more activity in our parliament.

For those who don't know what a supermajority (I need to post this anyways even though this is common knowledge), a 2/3 supermajority means 10/14 ayes with both Senate and Congress included, (assuming no one abstains).

Vote Aye if you want presidents to be recalled with polls recorded.

Advantages.

• This should give faith in our political system and people we would have a higher vote count.
• This would be more efficient than an impeachment because there would be polls that would need to be evidence so false impeachments don't get done
• You can still initiate a traditional impeachment if need be (especially if there are people who encourage outsiders to enter an approval poll).
• Approval polls should clearly define when to make a petition.
• You only need an approval rating to be below 50% or have dropped to below 50% to start the petition for recalling an election.
• No need to mess around trying to find evidence, evidence for recalling election is optional as the poll is enough evidence to prove that the president needs to be recalled.

Disadvantages.

• There is a one-recall-per-term limitation (see last point for what we offer for exceptions).
• A petition would likely to require a 2/3 supermajority to recall a president.
• You may only recall a president only (not a Vice President nor HoC nor HoS).
