Before here, I used to frequent a forum on an Alternative Rock site, and there were a lot of Emo speshul snowflakes which were mercilessly eviscerated whenever they posted. Which seems really wrong to do, especially when it was like a shark feeding frenzy descending upon them by the regs - till you read their posts. I even defended some when I first joined till I saw the general pattern of attention seeking whining. So what's what framed my perspective.
