You forget that I worked for the government for 30 years. Conspiracies require sacrifice for a cause. The employee promotion system is merit based. The kind of people this attracts compete with each other, rather than connive. In relation to your last, rather paranoid sounding, sentence what have "they," been lying about and why 22-years?

Of all the Departments of the government, State is the one that changes the most wit every new President. That is because it is almost universally accepted that Foreign Policy is the domain of one person, the President. It changes to suit his preferences. "Corrupt," is a word that has been terminally overused by the MAGA movement. For the world to have become so corrupt, out of the blue, incorrectly presumes that it was pristine once or could be made pristine by assertion of the will of one person.

The DOJ, on the other hand, changes the least. If it missteps in its mission to focus on applying the law equally to all people, the Courts gladly set it straight.
