Pro-lifers have certainly been saying they want to do that since almost the moment Roe v. Wade was decided. However, every public statement and decision from conservative SCOTUS justices upheld Roe v. Wade. Until, all of a sudden, they didn't - and then, just like that, it was gone.
Law does not normally whiplash that fast from out of nowhere. Typically it is a much more gradual chipping-away and re-orientation of precedent over a period of years if not decades.
It was a sneak attack, the culmination of a whole lot of religious-conservative activism - there's nothing like it analogous in American history. I will give this faction credit for its hard work, even if I disagree vehemently with it.
Don't think the Rothschilds factor in here.
