Random screamers with no buildup ARE cheap though. But it doesn't have to all be psychological horror. Sometimes I like a good jump scare, just not when I'm not expecting it in the slightest. The best IMHO are when tension is built, and just when you start to let your guard down, BAM! That, is good setup.
