It's just a way for Elon Musk to get even richer. And he's already the richest man in the world with a net worth of $250B+!

That's one way of looking at it, but to me, it's not "just" that.
I see it as a way to prove the account is a real person, not a bot, adding needed legitimacy to a currently questionable platform.

And not ignoring the elephant in the room, no one is going to be FORCED to have a certified Twitter account, so if this makes him richer, it's because people choose to.

that's one reason to get Twitter Blue subscription, but its not the only reason. There is always a chance that Putin could be richer than Elon Musk because Putin doesn't necessarily tell you the entire truth although Zelenskyy isn't any better.
