btw, the president of the US oil producer association said in a Fox Business interview that even if all the gas cars were switched to electric that would only reduce the amount of oil needed by up to 10%. The vast majority of oil produced is used to make plastics, resins, polymer coatings, etc., not motor oil for gas engines.

He also said that we recently switched to lp as our main source of electricity. If we were to go all electric, we would have to switch back to coal and nuke....making electric even more dirty than fossil vehicles
