Actually they may look the same but they are different...

So, what's the difference between a scone and an American biscuit? The answer generally boils down to one ingredient: eggs. Scones have them, biscuits don't.

1. Chicken Parmigiana, I have no idea what a meat pie is
2. color
3. Yes, from what I’ve heard his liberal policies hurt Australia a lot.
4. Fall, because it’s neither too hot nor too cold, and it doesn’t rain all the time as much (It rains A LOT here in northern Ohio, most of all in spring, due to lake effect precipitation from Lake Erie).
5. No
6. Do graham crackers count?
7. I have no idea right now, but two years ago Melbourne during the COVID fiasco was horrid.
8. I don’t follow sports that much, not even American basketball.
9. I don’t really mind either way. Australia might be a little better off depending on if taxpayer money is sent to the royals.
10. No, Australia’s a great ally in the Pacific region and, despite some troubles, a great example of freedom, especially compared to most Asian nations. Plus you’re not as woke as Europe and not as bitterly divided as us in the USA.

"1. Chicken Parmigiana, I have no idea what a meat pie is"

Nice, but a meat pie is a flakey, buttery crust base filled with slow cooked chunky beef and gravy filling, topped with a golden, crispy flakey pastry lid

"2. color"

Ok.

"3. Yes, from what I’ve heard his liberal policies hurt Australia a lot."

He put Australia in almost double the debt in just his reign as PM alone.

"4. Fall, because it’s neither too hot nor too cold, and it doesn’t rain all the time as much (It rains A LOT here in northern Ohio, most of all in spring, due to lake effect precipitation from Lake Erie)."

I can relate, March in my country is very good too (March is the beginning of Autumn/Fall in Australia).

"5. No"

Roast Lamb is rather expensive in my country, Chicken Breast is better value.

"6. Do graham crackers count?"

According to yummytummyaarthi.com, Graham crackers is nothing but a crispy biscuit, yes it certainly counts.

"7. I have no idea right now, but two years ago Melbourne during the COVID fiasco was horrid."

I can relate, Daniel Andrews is certainly terrible and he is likely to be re-elected for his third term in this November's state election.

"8. I don’t follow sports that much, not even American basketball."

Ok.

"9. I don’t really mind either way. Australia might be a little better off depending on if taxpayer money is sent to the royals."

Interesting.

"10. No, Australia’s a great ally in the Pacific region and, despite some troubles, a great example of freedom, especially compared to most Asian nations. Plus you’re not as woke as Europe and not as bitterly divided as us in the USA."

Australia and the US are certainly allies, they both condemn Russia and China's activity.

1. Chicken parm.
2. Color.
3. I heard Morrison was bad for the environment and not very bright, but I’d take life under an Australian conservative government (even the worst one) over life under any Republican government.
4. Autumn, aka Fall.
5. Heck yeah.
6. Hot honey biscuits. An American thing. Y’all wouldn’t get it.
7. I assume the worst place would be some impoverished Aborigine community deep in the heart of the Outback where it would take 14 hours to drive anywhere.
8. Any basketball club that I am a part of.
9. Monarchy is cringe. Cut ties with the royal family and slap some cool animals or homegrown Aussie legends on the currency.
10. Not at all. I actually visited Australia for a week in 2019, a few months before the great wildfire. All I had time to see was Sydney and some of the nearby national park. Wish I could have seen more. Australians are friendly. Streets were clean and felt safe. Things seemed well-run. Sydney is like Australia’s version of New York, but I far preferred it. Plenty to do. Breathable air. Unique wildlife. Australia feels like a British-themed version of America in an alternative universe where civility won out, and half the country didn’t lose its mind. I think Australians still have an optimistic view that their best days are ahead of them, while here in the States we very much don’t. Definitely on my list for a return trip, though will probably hit up New Zealand next when I get the chance to visit that part of the world again.

"3. I heard Morrison was bad for the environment and not very bright, but I’d take life under an Australian conservative government (even the worst one) over life under any Republican government."

Although Scomo was bad for environment according to you, the Liberal Party have gotten more liberal over the years and that's why I no longer support them.

"4. Autumn, aka Fall."

I agree.

"5. Heck yeah."

You must be enjoying Australia's National Dish.

"6. Hot honey biscuits. An American thing. Y’all wouldn’t get it."

Any biscuit is better than none.

"7. I assume the worst place would be some impoverished Aborigine community deep in the heart of the Outback where it would take 14 hours to drive anywhere."

It's your opinion, but yeah I can relate.

"8. Any basketball club that I am a part of."

Ok.

"9. Monarchy is cringe. Cut ties with the royal family and slap some cool animals or homegrown Aussie legends on the currency."

You'd agree with The Greens, but Albanese has a plan for a referendum to make Australia a Republic.

Very interesting story from you. Yeah, make a 'round the world trip with visiting New Zealand and Australia as the first main countries to visit (maybe stopping at Papeete, French Polynesia as you can fly there from LA non stop on Air Tahiti Nui), then visit an Asian country of your choice, then stay at Europe for a while, then back at home. This would likely to cost a fortune as well.

I'd like to visit England, Scotland and France around the end of next year, just depends on what's going' on.

"1. I have only had either a couple times so data is insufficient."

Maybe try them more often and compare them once you've tried them often.

"2. Color."

Ok.

"3. Idc. "

You didn't have to care whether Scomo is good or not.

"4. Fall is pretty chill."

I can agree.

"5. Not regularly."

Same with me.

"6. Pillsbury."

I didn't know about that company but once I researched it, I found that your favourite brand of biscuits have really high reviews, 5 out of 5 in over a thousand reviews.

https://www.pillsbury.com/products/biscuits/grands-refrigerated-biscuits/flaky-layers-original

"7. All of it?"

You find the whole of Australia miserable?

"8. Pelicans?"

At least I don't support them.

"9. Sure, why not."

You realise this is a left wing decision but then again you probably ain't used to being in a monarchy, but if you were Aussie, you'd be want to keep Australia as a monarchy and the Greens want to make Australia a republic.

"10. Nah Australia is pretty badass overall."

At least you don't hate Australia

1. Good question, I’m more of a Chicken Parmigiana fan.
2. Yes.
3. Yes, Scott Morrison has failed Australia and was the worst PM since Julia Gillard.
4. I guess all seasons have their own cons but I guess that Early Autumn (Around March) is best.
5. Not often, just too expensive, I’d like to eat it more often.
6. Tim Tams.
7. Sydney considering it rains heaps, people are lonely and it’s too expensive to live there (Queensland is better than New South Wales).
8. I don’t follow NBL but I guess the worst NBA team is New York Knicks.
9. I believe Australia should stay in the monarchy.
10. No, Australia is the place to be. I mean, its cost of living is much better than other countries, its only wokish compared to other Western Countries, it was plenty of job opportunities down here, but be wary that Electricity in Australia is going to be expensive and its not entirely Russia’s fault (its also because of the lack of coal fire powered stations and zero nuclear energy), see image for evidence (image came from Facebook)

I would definitely hunt kangaroos, kangaroo population is even more overpopulated than the Australian population of about 25 million. But please, don't hunt koalas
1 up, 2y
I heard farmers, one time, hired professional hunters in helicopters to control the kangaroo population. Sounds too expensive.
But no. You can't hunt koalas. Aren't they endangered?

In Queensland, New South Wales and probably ACT, koalas are endangered

I can't guarantee Turkey Meat Pies to be at the supermarket in Australia but you can certainly make it on this recipe...

Note: Good inspiration for if I celebrate Thanksgiving if I went to Norfolk Island to have an Australian style Thanksgiving meal.

"2. Do you spell colour with a u? I never spell it the same twice. [I do this to seperate memers from non-memerrs using meme websites."

Interesting.

"3. Do you dislike Scott Morrison? No. I don't know who he is..."

Scott Morrison is our ex prime minister who reigned from 2018 til May 2022 replacing Malcolm Turnbull (another ex PM) and replaced by Anthony Albanese and represented the Liberal Party of Australia (a centrist party).

"4. What is your favourite season? Fall."

I can relate.

"5. Do you eat roast lamb? No. I haven't had lamb in years."

Too expensive?

"6. What biscuits do you like the most? Popeyes biscuits."

Ok.

"7. What is the most miserable place in Australia? Townsville."

So much crime down there, pretty miserable down there. It is up on my list of most miserable places in Australia and I believe it is the most miserable place in Queensland.

"8. What is the worst basketball club? 76ers for pissing me off every year in the playoffs."

At least I don't support them.

Americans don't eat a lot of lamb. We mostly eat beef. So yeah, lamb is expensive here.
2 ups, 2y,
1 reply
I understand, I would eat beef more often than lamb for a similar reason. Lamb in Australia currently costs AU$19.20 for a half lamb leg around 750g-1.6kg (1.65-3.5lb), that would cost for today US$12.30, and that's only a 20% discount.

Yeah, I'd be paying a lot more than that for lamb here.
1 up, 2y
If I visited America, it would be even more expensive because I would have brought in AUD but would have converted it to USD, therefore would have less money than what I had
