Pro-Choice means that we trust the individual and her doctor to make the decision, without the state forcing their will. I have met thousands of doctors in my health care management jobs. All of them vow to "First, do no harm," to their patient. Almost all of them supported abortion as an option. Their understanding of human life is such that an abortion was not "murder," as you describe it.
The Guttmacher Institute did a study of abortions and found that Black women had a higher incidence of unintended pregnancy and less access to birth control pills, etc. Additional children increased poverty among Black, single women. When the state of Colorado made birth control on demand a public health option, unwanted pregnancies and abortions decreased significantly. Birth control is one of the choices in a "Pro-Choice," model.
