Hm, may I suggest visiting the beautiful little town of Gumption in Texas? Located a few minutes from Odessa and placed near the world-famous Mystery Flesh Pit National Park, an ideal trip for the kids!

It's perfectly safe, what the hell are you talking about?
The park injuries are MINIMAL, truly, the lawsuit count even lower!
If you really think about it, walking inside of such a national park could be a pretty interesting experience.

Thank you so much, Moth! I wish you the absolute very best as well (and maybe I'll sneak in some photos of my new life in Fort Wayne, IN as well in the future to post on here, who knows?)

And to be honest, I was never into golf anyways - the moderately-sized villa just happens to be part of a golf-club community (we never went for the golfing, we went because of the fact that we liked the house and the perks of being on a golf-club community that came with it)
