ah, using the all caps letters, wearing the big boy pants. No, personally I think it would be interesting to be an inter-stellar species and colonizing Mars and other moons in our solar system would be a big step to accomplish that. I did not mean to get you angry for you to use all caps, but it does seems to me that your reasoning is limited. There is such thing as terraforming where we can artificially make it able to sustain life. Eventually the planet Earth will run out of all those resources you mentioned, and even worse, since Earth is abundant in H2O which is much more denser than CO2, it will get much more hotter than Venus as the Sun keeps expanding and getting brighter as it burns its hydrogen in its core, look up hydrostatic equilibrium. Now you may say, well the sun is not going to fully burn its hydrogen for another 4.5 billion years, yes it is true but we are already seeing the effects of it now and you do not need to wait that long before life on Earth is completely extinguished. So basically we are in borrowed time unless we can become an inter-stellar species, and to becoming an inter-stellar species is not gonna happen unless we take steps to make it happen. Definitely not gonna happen from sitting in front of your computer trolling a meme site. Yes, I did took Astronomy in college and I do follow Astronomy and space exploration studies actively. And I was hoping to get an intellectual debate here. Cheers!
