The only way to know the causes and sustainment of poverty is to talk to people who were (and their families etc) perpetually in poverty, decided to stop and then got out of it, whilst everyone else stayed.

Unfortunately that means talking to a crap tonne of republicans and that can really screw up the liberal narrative

The real source of poverty is the tax system. The information industry keeps the public ignorant of basic economics so the rich will have people to do their dishes and mow their grass.
