People forget or are just ignorant of the fact that the Federal Government has no money that does not come from the people living in the states. When the government "benevolently" sends money to states, it is money already sent to the government - minus exorbitant taxes. It is not charity.

Government is both lender and borrower. . .if any of us tried that we'd be either smacked up side the head for being that stupid or thrown in jail for trying to pull it off.

How is social security on your back? When you work you pay into it. It's not even an entitlement, it's actual money owed. It's sad how stupid Americans are these days, wouldn't you agree?

It's funny too, that is the only program you hear about "running out of money".
