I find the sheer levels of unjustified hatred and bigotry against Native Americans (or any kind of Indigenous people, as a matter of fact) to be very disturbing and appalling. You don't judge actors based solely upon their ethnicity, race, religion, orientation, or otherwise - you judge actors based on their ability to act, and nothing else!
You may think that this is a personally-held vendetta due to how strongly I've worded this and feel about this, and you might be right in a way - after all, my dearly-beloved boyfriend and fiancée RetroTheFloof is in fact part Native-American by blood (he is of the Powhatan tribe, as far as I believe - he's also a distant descendant of Pocahontas, as well) - if anyone were to give any form or sort of prejudice against my fiancée (or anyone among my family, friends, and lovers, as a matter of fact) over this or anything along the lines of that for any reason, I honestly don't know what I'd do - all that I do know is that I'd likely raise the bellowing fires of hell as I black out, and that the assailant may not survive it, give or take mentally or physically.
Sorry about the rant; I feel very strongly about this, that's all. I just thought I'd share it.
