....a LOT of people commented on the problematic color-coding of the Power Rangers. I assume what you mean is that it was easier to ignore them in the 90's.
Some supposedly real drama on the original US TV show. The actor that played the Blue Ranger(Billy) came out as gay to the cast and crew. According to him the reaction wasn't exactly politically correct. The cast and crew however denied any bullying and whatever.
