Any pronouns are valid, so long as the person who uses them truly feels that way and wants to be viewed by everyone else that way
There are some exceptions though, like Dreamgender and Spaghettigender or whatever those people are coming up with these days to try to act like homophobia is a part of the LGBTQ community

Yes. I used to be like, "Xenogender? Their dumb," or, "Xe/xem aren't real words or pronouns," But now that I've done research on it, I'm like, "Wait no, they're cool, why didn't I do my research before saying they aren't valid?" And now I use xe/xem pronouns :)

I've seen multiple people in the comments say they aren't valid. But you're right that it shouldn't totally be directed at this stream. It's a general problem in the community that also exists here.

i respect neopronouns, but it/its are like calling someone an object, not a living, feeling thing. to me at least

The point of grammar is to simplify. Neopronouns just complicate. "It" is used for non sentient beings and I have been called an "it" because I am transgender. I was being bullied and mocked so seeing people calling themselves "it" is upsetting.

Well, I personally use Neopronouns and I think "It" defines me. I don't really know how to explain but, some people find comfort in using "It" as a pronoun.
