Andy Cuong Ngo is an American conservative journalist,[1][2][3] author, and right-wing social media influencer[4] known for covering and video-recording demonstrators.[5]
On June 29, 2019, Ngo covered protests at a rally organized by the far-right group Proud Boys in Portland. A group of counter-protesters also organized, some of whom physically attacked Ngo, who was present filming.[2] Ngo was punched in the head, kicked and hit with at least one milkshake.
As a result of the attack, medical examiners determined that Ngo suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage
