You gotta use strategy to take out all the upvote beggars, not blunt force that leaves you blind to even CONSIDERING that you may need to think differently for this, that YOU may be in the wrong. And also, replying with "okay" is a way to stop an argument, however that doesn't mean its because they dont want to come out wrong or be embarrassed or whatever. I do it all the time, because it's a cooling mechanism that can also confuse others because they expect a debate, not a Thank you.

Also yes, the only way to stop upvote beggars is to discourage them from upvote begging again. Upvote begging isn’t technically against the fun stream rules (although I would love for it to be), but it is still an awful thing to do. So I can’t take their memes down. All I can do is stop them from making more.

You’re not wrong, but you also aren’t making things better. They won’t stop, especially if you tell someone who accidentally did it they did something wrong.
