And breathe in/inhale oxygen.
There must be an internal fuel source, but I’ve never seen a dragon autopsy to confirm.

The fuel probably can't be a hydrocarbon (methane, propane, octane), as those are mostly inorganic. It'd have to be an organic compound like a fat, since fat is mostly oil, which is flammable. Dragons might have huge oil deposits in their bodies so that they combust and exhale out as fire. The fat would have to be transferred from the deposits to the lungs to catch and burn as the dragon exhales. There would also have to be a spark ignition as soon as the dragon exhales to catch the transferred fat on fire and then exit the dragon's windpipe.

But I don't know, I'm no expert.

I have a fun idea, but it might not work
Genetic Engineering is working to bring back mammoths from the ice age, so how about dinosaurs?
Hear me out, dinosaurs are big and scaly ya? And birds who are their ancestors fly, ya? So what if we combine them together to make a dragon? It might have feathers, but still, we still have a dragon!

so you telling me that we should bring back a 5m tall scaly reptiles with incredible strength, sharp teeths, sharp claws, strong ass tail and add wings to them? Boi are you planning to doom the world or smth, and remember they not gonna have some sort of "mind controlling microchips"

Not all dinosaurs are 5m tall, but i also think dragons in real life are cool
0 ups, 2y
Well the ones that look like a dragon the most are 5m tall but if we talking about the other one then we getting new cartoon mascot :skull:

Dragons may have existed. They may have lived millions of years even before dinosaurs, so there is high chance dragons could have been on Earth

The closest thing we have are dinosaurs, right? is that the argument you're making?

So, scientifically, we breathe in oxygen. But if you are in a room with a bunch of other people, we are technically, breathing in carbon dioxide, that others have breathed out.
1 up, 2y,
1 reply
We breathe air in at approximately 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 1% argon, 0.04% carbon dioxide, 0.5% water vapour.

When we exhale, the composition of the air remains almost the same as the air we inhale, only the percentage of carbon dioxide and oxygen changes.

The amount of inhaled air contains 21% of oxygen and 0.04% of carbon dioxide, while the air we breathe out contains 16.4% of oxygen and 4.4% of carbon dioxide.
This is because our cells use oxygen from the inhaled air to release energy and give out carbon dioxide as a by product.

Right, school time over.
