Almost all law enforcement agencies do not divulge the private information of citizens. Many people are investigated for possible criminal acts. If contradictory evidence is found, or not enough evidence to indict, investigations are abandoned without comment. Many hundreds of hours of news reporters' and others time has been invested in trying to figure out if Epps is tied to the FBI. Here's what can be confirmed:
Epps, who served in the Marines and has ties to the Arizona Oath Keepers, supported Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020. He has been recorded telling 1-6-21 Rally Members to go peacefully into the Capitol. He never entered the Capitol, so he was never charged with a crime. The picture of him on the FBI's information wanted page, does not depict him committing any crime. The FBI would not have posted his picture if he was "deep undercover." Their interests, if he were an operative, would be best served keeping him out of the limelight.
