LOL exactly what I was thinking. These Rambo Trump and similar memes that have been conjured out of the depths of MAGA psychology. Of course, the right-wing edgelords of the internet will claim this kind of over-the-top imagery is "ironic." And for some of the more self-aware ones, sure.
But in an overall sense among the MAGA faithful? Really tho? Really?
When Trump rallies are thronged by wild-eyed supporters of his and are basically megachurch revival events? When modern-day Republicans are listing Trump in the company of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt? (Literally, the Gov. of South Dakota floated chiseling Trump's face on Rushmore.)
I love that we have our own version of that meme-trope now - Dark Brandon - that plays into Republicans' darkest fears about 46 and that every Democrat instantly recognizes as a joke because "Biden supporters" don't constitute a f**king cult.
Look, I like Biden, but let's give his legacy at least 30 years for history to judge it in retrospect before we even think of bringing up the Rushmore topic?
