"Going green" is the perfect platform for big government and big corporations to take control of our daily lives because literally everything you do can be done more greener. It's up to our overlords, of course, to tell us how to do that because we're too stupid to decide for ourselves or to let the free market decide what the best course of action is.
They've been doing it ever since Al Gore lost in 2000 and needed a side gig. We've been incrementally giving up our choices to these despots. Like an abused spouse, we're hoping that this time will be the last time. Like the frog in the pot of water, we're not realizing what's happening until it's too late. Enjoy, off my soap box now.
