Everything is now free?

Even joining the military does not gives you free college, you still got to put money down for GI bill AND it only covers some percentage of the tuition with a limit.

I am not sure how it works. I know people who did it and it covered the costs.

Some cost. Unless you are going to a community college.

In some trade schools it would pay for most of the cost.

They definitely can be useful but idk if I'd necessarily consider trade schools "college".
