That's really the only way they know how to debate. I know. I spent a lot of time there and realized that it was just too toxic and such a waste of time. Some of them are retired boomers and the white supremacy and misogyny is multi-generational, it appeared, so there's no debating with that level of ignorance. They'll never get it, at least not from here.

Just came across an old meme stream that is the perfect example of what I'm talking about. I posted this in early 2020 during the pandemic. Needless to say, there was a lot of excuses and personal attacks flying from the start. I do occasionally bump into the respectable person on their who wants to hold a calm, sensible debate but most of the time, they get piss-poor angry or deliver short annoying quips whenever I state my opinion that contrasts with theirs.

I've been reading the comments. I can't ever tell if they're turning over a new leaf or just changing approaches in communication just to troll; they aren't consistent yet. Time will tell.

That the reason debates don't happen there is because you have banned anyone with a different opinion. Not because we don't want to debate.
