When I got up this morning, I had the idea that the murder drones weren't originally murder drones...
I thought it made sense at the time, maybe they're named with one letter as an abbreviation rather than just being sorted alphabetically
V could've been Vanessa or something like that
However I'm not sure what N would be
That's the first part where I started to realize this theory isn't very good
I didn't think about it much for the next few minutes but then I got on imgflip and realized: how would they have become murder drones in the first place
It's not like there's any humans there to make them into murder drones
(I just realized this right after typing all of that)
Maybe jcjenson prepared for this
They can just send a signal and a few worker drones turn into murder drones
But this solution also has problems: we literally see N, J, and V's landing pod! So yeah, here's a theory I immediately proved wrong
