I agree that it's not legal. How could it be? This is the biggest transfer of debt from one group of Americans to another in our history! (well, at least that I know of...)
It's got to be galling to those who paid off their debt, or worked while in school to avoid debt, or to parents who sacrificed things like nice cars in order to save for their kids schooling, to see this demented old fool pander for votes in this manner. It's absolutely sickening. They have every right to believe Dementia Joe is treating them like suckers, because that's exactly what he's doing.
Typical of liberals though... with them being parasites sucking at the govt teat. (can I say teat without being sent to imgflip jail for the 23rd time?) Working class people, if they even hear about this (lib media is not covering it accurately, but would we expect otherwise?) would have to be outraged.
