And to clarify, it's being decriminalized because the idea is, instead of put them in jail when they need help, we should instead just get them the help they need
Sadly, not everyone is willing to get the help they need, so for them, it's basically an invitation to keep getting high. Yes, there are consequences to this. There are also consequences to throwing them in prison as well though
