Unlike the Biden & Harris families, my family didn't even come to these shores until after the civil war, so they weren't slave owners. The ones that might have been here before the civil war lived in the North and would have fought for the Union. Why should I and my family have to pay for the sins of southern slave owners (i.e. the Biden and Harris families)?

Having a lineage where each generation had a family member fight in every war from the revolutionary war to Vietnam, we finally discovered it's not worth it. So nobody has joined after the last military family member returned from Vietnam alive.
