keep in mind, the income level that qualifies for the tax credit, doesn't pay net taxes anyway. The bottom 48% income level pays 0% in U.S. On top of that, 70% of EV models in U.S. do NOT qualify for the EV car rebate.

I wonder if the tax credits covers the inverter replacement at year 6-10 when the warranty only covers 3-5.

Only suddenly costs $1000 out of nowhere and I'm sure people can afford that...I mean it's not like they need tax credits to buy the ..ooohhhh
