There is a huge difference between a local police department and a highly political federal buracracy with the power to crush any citzen it wants with no accountability. When local police screw up they are most often (granted not always) held accountable and victims often win 10's even 100's of thousands of dollars. Good luck trying to sue the Feds and when was the last time you herd of ANY federal agent going to Jail for excessive force or abuse of power?

No one that I have heard or read has screamed or spoken softly about defunding the FBI.
What people have called for is a firing of Wray and Garland and a to de-politicizing the FBI as the DNC's private Gestapo
