I have. Wore an ACDC shirt to my first day of 6th grade. A couple of dudes hated it bc I can’t remember why and kicked me in the crotch at the sight of it. Thank god the teacher punished them almost immediately.
I agree with the other comment. Also dress code is there in every school. No one can come to school nude or in lingerie for a BIG REASON. Dress code makes sure no one is offending anyone else, and sometimes peoples' dress choice overrated and overexpressed to be allowed
Me, who has to wear a long sleeve shirt, a tie, a jumper, a blazer, grey socks, black school shoes, long pants and specific coloured hair ties every day except Wednesday cos that's my P.E day: y'all get free choice in clothing?

Obviously some rules in the dress code are necessary bit there are a few ones that are not necessary. But I usually wear sweaters and sweatpants so. I don't really have a problem with it
My cousin is going into school soon and she has to wear a uniform. she likes it (somehow) but I think its garbage that she has to wear one. ITS HER FIRST DAY
I think people underestimate the ability of human beings to be stupid. I'm not fond of super strict dress codes, but I certainly don't think that children should be expressing themselves in public. They barely have a personality, "expressing" whatever it is that they do have cannot be healthy for them later.
