Alex Jones says he no longer will "pigheadedly," support Trump. Laura Ingram says many Republicans are "tired," of him. The last time I looked, these two were firmly to the far right. Voting for Trump's candidates is not the way to get rid of him. Sending Dr. Oz back to New Jersey to shop for "Crudites," is just the beginning. Saying "No," to all Trump-endorsed candidates is the way to take the wind out of his sails.

In 1972, moderate-liberal Democrats voted overwhelmingly for Richard Nixon. Nixon won by a landslide and got 520 of the 538 possible Electoral College votes. Nixon was very unpopular with Democratic rank and file, who voted for him, none-the-less, to save their party from "radicals." In 1976 they won the White House and ousted radicals from control of their party.
