Republicans aren't getting rid of the IRS. If they had a spine they would have done that when Warren Harding became president right after Woodrow Wilson (the idiot who forced the income tax on us to control us). Harding and especially Coolidge after him were great presidents, some of the best but why the didn't get rid of the IRS is beyond me.
Every single time the Democrats takes a massive social program dump on the American people the next time the Republicans are in power they do nothing about it. They'll scream and protest while the Dems are taking said dump on the American people but they never pull anything back. We still have FDR's New Deal policies in place. Those were passed into law to prevent the economy from recovering. We're paying a Federal excise tax on tires to help support the war effort for WWI. We can't seem to get it through the Republicans politicians heads that all of these programs, by taking money out of the economy, cause what those programs were supposed to fix. Every time.
