I've only played Doom 1993 and Doom II, but considering the videos of doom eternal I think that the OG ones are better simply because of a higher skillcap

I’ve never played a Doom Game. I’ve never played a shooter like it at all, the closest thing to it would be Halo MCC or Infinite. And In those games, stealth is an option in some areas. It’s fun though.

Dooms Multiplayer looks weird tho. Two players are demons and one player is the Slayer, the Slayer has to take out both demons within 20 seconds of the first one dying to win, the demons win the round if they kill the slayer first.

I imagine that'd be fairly easy

Oh, and demon players can spawn in support from ai demons and block loot for a certain amount of time.

BFG doesn’t do any extra damage to demon players besides the projectile I don’t think. Demon players have a ridiculous amount of health too (anywhere between 2000 to 3200 hp from what it looks like rn, and that depends on the demon you are currently playing as).

Then wouldn't it be virtually impossible as the demon players could just spawn like 200 AI demons?

I think each player can only have 4 at a time (1 per unit, it’s not like demons do crazy amounts of damage though, idk the full multiplayer rules and I forgot, you’ll just have to find a video on the tutorial)

alright then, I probably won't be playing doom eternal anytime soon though.

doom 1 and 2 are free on emupedia.net/beta/emuos though, I beat both doom 1 and 2 without saving on normal difficulty, and I beat doom 1 without saving on ultra-violence. Working on doom 2.
