The meme is saying that during summer break, to schools are like, Happy Summer Break! But when school starts again, they take the children back.

I start August 29

In Australia (where I reside), school starts in January and ends in December

In the Philippines (prior to the COVID-19 pandemic) school starts in June and ends in March or early April, but now it starts on August and ends either on late April or early May

Seriously, whose idea was it to shorten summer break by at least three weeks? It's not *summer* break anymore. It's what? Five weeks now?
