The woman who is running for Governor on the GOP side is a highly partisan Republican who openly contrasts her party inspired positions to the Democratic Party candidate and an independent running against her. From his ads you would be forgiven if you concluded if he is an unaffiliated candidate. There is a part of Eastern Oregon in which a Democrat could not be elected Dog Catcher. The district in which he chose to run has been held by a Democrat since 1987. If the vote is on strict party lines he will lose. His only hope is that people recognize his name and ignore his party.
