So when did both Parties meet and agree to switch? Was it something like wife-swapping? Say it out loud and see if it doesn't sound ridiculous. Actual history: both Parties changed in different ways over several years. Sorry, but Democrats have a troubled history and they are stuck with it.

The racist people literally switched the party they were voting for. Read it as many times as you need to, it's not complicated.
Most Southerners didn't join the Republican Party until the 1980s, well after Civil Rights. Most Republicans supported Civil Rights. Many Democrats did not support Civil Rights. Stop with the revisionist history.
Voting record for both Houses of Congress shows that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed the Senate on a 73-to-27 vote. The Democratic supermajority in the Senate split their vote 46 (69%) for and 21 (31%) against. The Republicans, on the other hand, split their vote 27 for (82%) and 6 against (18%). https://www.wsj.com/articles/SB1041302509432817073

Northern Democrats beat Northern Republicans.
Southern Democrats beat Southern Republicans.
In the House AND Senate.
Republican Party started gaining in the South with the Conservative Christian movement. Democrats were solidly in control until then. I remember. I was there.
This is proof that Southern Democrats and Southern Republicans both voted against Civil Rights. So why did Southerners "switch" parties if both parties voted against Civil Rights? It kind of disproves the "switch" myth.

And which one was more racist about it? In all eight categories?
What are these numbers? No source. No reference to any event, or date. I am not a Republican. I am a Democrat. I know the actual history. There was no "switch." Republicans are not responsible for the Democrats' past sins. I remember when Southerners started voting Republican. I was there! Jessie Helms, Ronald Regan, Conservative Christians. Blind faith is dangerous. We have to push back when our Party lies and says stupid things.

....they're the CRA vote count! What do you mean no source? That's public record!!!
When did Republican governors begin to get elected in Southern states? Georgia's first Republican since Reconstruction was in 2002. You will find similar results in most Southern states. The "switch" didn't happen until well after Civil Rights and it happened slowly for many different reasons. Both Parties changed gradually over time. No one traded places.

No. The switch goes back to the 40's and the CRA vote count you keep ignoring shows that it was definitely past the halfway point in 1964.
The "switched" myth is progressive historical fantasy. It is emotional, not factual. Just because you want something to be true doesn't mean it is. To say that the Republicans were the vanguard of Civil rights would be wrong also. I'm sorry but history is complicated. You have to actually study it to understand it. Why don't you watch a few documentaries? Test: Are you trying to prove what you know is the truth or are you trying to discover the truth whatever it turns out to be?

Ok. Now look at the vote count again and notice that in every group, Northern House, Northern Senate, Southern House, Southern Senate, the Republicans were already the ones more likely to be racist even as far back as 1964.
