explain, ive played capter 1 and watched a playthrough of chapter 2

Well, as you may know, Ralsei explains to us when we first meet him that he is a darkner, a creature created who’s only purpose is to serve the lightners(kris, Susie, Noelle, Ect..) therefore they are not supposed to have feelings of any sort towards them except for their greatfulness- ralsei explains more in chapter 2 that the darkners shouldn’t be as self aware like he is because then it messes with the prophecy he tells us in chapter 1- more information like this is revealed in the boss fights(eg- spamton).. that’s a very brief summary if you want me to go into further details I can-
