i do because most of the famous people who are against him are liberals. there's also a lot of inaccuracy and lies in the disgusting leaving neverland "documentary". i'm sure a few conservatives think mj was a pedophile, but liberals have a stronger hate for him now.

I assume that you're young and simply don't remember how all of this even started. Michael Jackson was a prolific liberal activist and the allegations - however fair or unfair they may have been - came in full force from the right wing.

From all circles, except a number of fans, of which unfortunately there were many and in denial. I don't recall accusations framed in L vs R.

The difference in coverage between mainstream and right wing media was quite stark. Fox News went on an all out crusade against the man - I mean, they wanted literal blood. They wanted to see him absolutely destroyed. In many ways, he was the man they cut their teeth on in developing their hostile media techniques.

Most media outlets just wanted to work the controversy by broadcasting the allegations then interviewing him on TV for his side of the story, often in the same evening.

But the right wing tabloids drove him stressed to the point of illness. They were absolutely ruthless. There's no comparison.

And I remember it in the public too. Most people wanted to know what the hell happened, most people didn't want to take his word at face value like the most impassioned fans did - but conservative people were the ones who would whip into the highest frenzy about it.

Oh, I didn't watch FOX till the 2nd season of Red Eye, and wasn't online till late 2014, so I missed that! hahaha, silly me! As I had just regular (real) media to go by, and saw the questions and outcry from that, and folks I knew, that's what I was going by,,,

i am a little young, but according to google and several books, mj was political. several child dancers who worked in his videos became conservative and the ones who accused him of sexual assault became very liberal and therefore, the documentary appealed more to the left, even though i will admit conservatives originally blamed mj in the beginning.

He raped children. I don't recall any of these fake 'sides' going after him, just people, but whomever did, more power to them.

Oh, and I grew up on him, from their introduction on Soul Train (cousins we used to visit on Saturdays always watched the show) on. So when I tell you I ain't heard this silliness, it's from that perspective.

You appear to be giving a lot of credit to the ability of one documentary that most people haven't even seen to make everyone in the world spontaneously switch sides.

Let me put it this way:

If your approach to child safety is, as you're saying here, liberals can't be trusted and conservatives can, then your concern isn't really about child safety and you're setting yourself up for several major shocks in your life ahead of you. That kind of thinking is pretty much how all of this happened in the first place.
