Do you know how many Covid has killed?
The vast majority of people don’t have an adverse response to the vaccine. There are adverse events, yes — but that’s a function of the sheer number of doses that have been administered, which is enormous. Hundreds of millions.
Anti-vaxxers demand a standard of perfection that doesn’t exist. Do you know how difficult it is to design a vaccine that will work in 100% of people 100% of the time? So difficult that it’s never been done before. Human bodies are simply too varied. Yet that is no good reason not to get vaccinated in the face of a pandemic that has already killed 1+ million Americans and still isn’t really over (and may never truly be).
If you’ve avoided vaccines based on a tiny handful of adverse outcomes, and made a conscious choice to roll the dice with Covid instead, then you took an unnecessary risk.
