Salem, Oregon is a good place to be a bicyclist. Yet every measure that makes it this way is met with howls of complaint from car worshipping elitists. SMH

Maybe there'll be less complaints as it gets more expensive to operate a car. Conservatively, I saved hundreds of dollars already last year by (mostly) biking instead of driving: with the new price of gas, I imagine it will be in the thousands.
