If I post a meme in a dead stream, that got 3 upvotes and got to the front page ._. cuz everything else on the front page is months old,,,
and I post a meme in an active stream that got 30 upvotes and is on the third page sorted by Hot, , ,

When you go to my profile and sort images by Hot, the dead stream meme with three upvotes would be on the top.
