He's a rat. I looked at California's current polling and it looks like Newsom is going to win re-election. So as rotten to the core Newsom is, he's a reflection of the majority of voters in California. I grew up and lived most of my life in California. It used to be a great place to live. California has a little of everything plus some of the best weather in the US. But the government has made the state unlivable.

I live in Utah now. I love it here but there are no oceans but Utah has everything else that California has. My wife only misses California in the winter. It's a lot colder in Utah.

Utah doesn't have term limits that I'm aware of. We had Senator Orrin Hatch serving since the 60's (I think, at least 70's). He retired on his own almost 10 years ago. Now we have Romney but I don't think he'll be around for another term. He's killed his base support off by acting like a leftist.

California does have term limits for governor. I grew up in California. I was there for Jerry Brown's 1st 2 terms. I left before he ran again decades later. He had to wait long enough for people to forget what an awful governor he was the 1st time. He term limited out and California decided that Brown didn't destroy California fast enough so the put Newsom in.

I don't remember how long Newsom has been in but I think he's running for his 4th term right now. If there's anything left of California (or anyone left in California) I'm sure they'll put someone worse than Newsom in after he's term limited out of office.
