It's supposed to be a Representative Republic, but it's been hijacked and is now Crony Capitalism and Corporatism

The thing about unrestrained mob rule (democracy) is that the majority become all powerful tyrants over the minority. The problem with a constitutional republic is that there is a possibility of the minority becoming tyrants over the majority. Utopia's are fantasy . . . which is why with few exceptions Marxism becomes a cruel nightmare for the captured population.
