Libs nagging about some flag while they support the party of slavery.

You would think Democrats would be happy that their flag is still being flown and presented in the South.

But I guess they know what is best for racism, considering the Dixiecrats primarily used it during the KKK timeline as well as a symbol of hate.

It seems like Democrats keep forgetting how North and South flip sides over years where Democrats moved mostly to the North and Republicans moved mostly to occupy the Southern States.

Also, most flags are flown at the same time with the present USA one generally above the Confederate one or that is the correct way for them to be carried. I see the Confederate flag as a symbol of history in regards to the Civil War and a reminder of what was fought for to not repeat those times. I don't symphonize if anyone is flying it above the American flag and technically it should never be properly hosted stand-alone(without US flag) unless it may be in some 'monument' area. There is also other flag etiquette too, but I am not going to get in-depth with all that.

But hey, the American flag is equal to many instances of racism in the past as well. Does that also equate to that it should be taken down and not flown at all? No.

If the argument "it's not that party anymore" is valid, one could argue "it's not that flag anymore."

The Confederate flag has a specific thing it represents which hasn't changed. That's not true for the democrat party

Like any other symbol, it's meaning is different for different groups. For some it's simply southern pride. (I.e. the land of fried chicken, grits, and BBQ). I admit it's wise to be aware of others interpretation of the symbol, and act accordingly. The Swastika is actually a Hindu symbol representing the balance in nature, but it's not used (at least not in the U.S.) because we know how many will interpret it
