The revolutionary War was about freedom of the Country from England. Portraying the people of the revolution as right wing slave owners is just your indoctrination talking. Most didn’t own slaves and many blacks fought. Have you ever heard of Crispus Attucks? No, I bet you haven’t because you follow an indoctrinated Marxist line of thinking taught to you by people who lack the same ability to perceive reality in the 1700’s. You projecting your leftist 2022 ideals on people from 250 years ago is ridiculous. All races enslaved and were enslaved. The history of man is one of struggle.

What about the white Christian slaves made so by Rome or Islam? That slavery was ok? What about the Uighur genocide and enslavement in China that doesn’t bother you. Selective outrage is crap. You are whitewashing racist history. Per your logic, we should have no guilt because Africans were the ones who delivered other Africans to the Europeans. It’s like saying “but you don’t care about black on black crime” when we cry about the cops disproportionately murdering black Americans.

You’re trying to excuse American slavery as just like any other historical slavic institution so we can forget about it, when we know this nation has a long legacy of racism and racial oppression, and institutional racism that is evident to this day. Blacks still feel the effects of slavery and segregation.

Christian slaves in Rome and Islam was not on the basis of race. American slavery was specifically blacks. Along with it came decades of intimidation and attacks on black Americans whenever they tried to move past their primitive and backwards connection with slavery. Whites lynched successful blacks, they justified killings on lies that blacks were raping white women. They created caricatures of blacks to ensure everyone still connected them with dullness, stupidity and backwardness. Whites staged huge protests whenever blacks moved up the ladder in the workplace. They had their own organizations to ensure no black people had jobs until all jobs for whites were filled.

Whites owned black slaves in America, and sold their offspring to be slaves for other white masters. Some freed people would never reunite with their families. White masters would make accommodations for pregnant slaves, digging a hole in the ground to protect the womb while lashing a whip against her back as punishment.

If you’re so intelligent about history, then you probably know that blacks were robbed after the end of the Civil War, and President Johnson scrapped all plans of Reconstruction. Blacks have never received reparations for generations of slavery and have largely had to build their financial status today, which is unchanged since the late 1960s, all by themselves.

You want to ignore this country’s deeply intwined and lasting relationship with racism just to make yourself feel better. You make me sick.

My god where do you wokesters learn this stuff. Slaves were purchased because they were available. It has nothing to do with race. They were available for purchase. Just like all slaves through history. The Christian slaves were most assuredly enslaved for race or ethnicity. How about the Jews in Egypt? Not because of race? It Would have been the same if they were Irish slaves. Many served indentured servitude alongside black slaves but there was no group who held them for purchase in groups like the African and Moslem traders.

As far as treatment. Everyone in history treated their slaves as “gasp”…slaves. It was a cruel practice and that’s why the West eradicated it while the Middle East and others continued the practice to this day. I reject hereditary guilt as I am not responsible for slavery. I don’t go to the police station and confess to murders I didn’t commit either. I never owned one and you weren’t ever one and the reason your life sucks isn’t slavery that happened 150 years ago. Just say you want a free handout because you feel less special. Cause that’s what it amounts too. If you want to play the hereditary guilt game the Japanese, the Germans, the Romans, the descendant of Ghengis Kahn, Aztecs, Egyptians and the various Caliphates and Zulus have a lot to pay for.
