No. This is absolutely wrong. The law would still have been challenged at the SCOTUS level because it interferes with State's rights. They were on flimsy ground with Roe since the ruling in 73 and they all knew it, THAT is why the mockingbird media, Hollywood, Planned Parenthood, and democrats do what they do to emotionally brainwash people into thinking it was a right. Their mistake was pushing abortion up to birth. Give the left an inch, and they'll try to take it all. Thank God our Founders gave us a Republican Constitution to keep democracy in check!

I'm not arguing about anything. I'm simply pointing to a flaw in the idea that congress could've codified abortion. The left likes wordplay to trick people into believing things. I think attacking why they would've failed at codifing it is more revealing than the fact they didn't try. You do mention one reason, fund raising, but it goes much deeper than that.

I'm more of a smart ass than anything remotely resembling unhinged ;-) I am also a Constitutionalist first and foremost and don't agree with a lot of conservatives on many issues regarding certain bills and acts that have been put in place that undermine the authority of the Constitution.
