Wouldn't changing your gender/sexuality at an older age be wiser since, your brain is more developed?

Some people may just think that they have a different sexuality or gender because they didn't feel a certain way, but sometimes that changes
Oftentimes these people realize that they aren't LGBTQ and just go on with their lives.
And you can't just change a sexuality, it does that on its own

Because sometimes you realize these things early on

You don’t necessarily change gender or sexuality. You figure it out. Deciding to go with the gender you were born with, or just deciding you’re straight because that’s what society puts on your back is a big mistake for a lot of people as well

Some people are smarter than you were at that age

It's best to think it through, Age doesn't really matter, You just have to really really think about it.

You don't really change your sexuality, you just figure it out as you go along. And same with gender.
My biggest mistake was taking so long to figure it out, so it just depends on the person. Not many people find they made the wrong decision, since I read about a person who asked a hundred cis people to take hrt and most of them were disgusted by the idea, so if somebody wants it it's probably the right decision.
If you wait to change until you're older, you can spend years stuck with dysphoria (which a lot of people don't properly describe, it's emotional pain so strong you can feel physical pain from it and want to give up on life, lie on the floor, and cry until you fade away to nothing).

How was “changing” your sexuality a big mistake? Did you say you where gay when you weren’t? Where you lying, or did you believe it? Did it just change over time?
