Been said for years...If the Government can give it too you, the Government can take it away. That's why the Bill of Rights are guaranteed protections FROM the Government, limiting their scope of authority. Pass a Constitutional Amendment if the "vast majority" of people favor abortion rights. If you can't pass one, it is questionable the "vast majority" actually do.

It's not in there and should be a power relegated to the states under the 10th amendment.

Deep Thoughts | IF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DOESN'T HAVE ANY POWER OVER ABORTION DO THEY HAVE THE POWER TO BAN IT? | image tagged in deep thoughts | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

The ARE NOT banning it! They are returning that decision to each state where each state decides how to handle it, as specified in the 10th amendment.

Yes. States like California, Colorado, and Minnesota still legalize getting abortions, because the governments in those states are pro-choice, but in states like South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming, the pro-life governments in those states have banned abortions.

But the governments of all states were elected by the people of those states and reflect the values of each state’s population. This is very different than having unelected Supreme Court justices trying to make law for the entire country when their arguments were never based on the US Constitution.
