Actually, I don't hate LGBTQ+ and minorities. The people who have told you that are lying to you, fearmongering and demonizing their opponents to consolidate more power over you. Happy to clear up that misconception up for you though.

The right is literally enabling fascism and you’re here telling us not to overreact. You are no different than the liberals during the Third Reich.

Actually, you’re worse. You would have been voting NSDAP.

The Nazi Party was the most prominent right-wing party in Germany by 1930. Brunig appointed Hitler chancellor and gave him a conservative coalition cabinet, made up of German National People’s Party politicians and Nazi Party politicians. Your anti-intellectualism just translates to ignorance.

I’m not fearmongering. I’m being honest. For the first time in generations the Supreme Court is undoing peoples’ rights, and targeting LGBTQ people. Nazis did that too. They despised transsexuals and homosexuals. It is obvious that today’s conservatives don’t want trans people to exist. They have outright said it.

Moreover, Republican politicians are passing laws that threaten the lives of LGBTQ people, especially youth. Their “groomer” culture war is giving a rise to fascist groups attacking and harassing queer people at pride events in coordinated attacks all over the nation.

You are complicit.

Hitler was still a socialist though, for the record, stop coping lmao. He wasn't a communist or a marxist, but he was still a socialist. And equating 1930s german conservatives to 2020 US conservatives is a bit silly.

Anyway, you are indeed fearmongering. The Supreme Court isn't even undoing anyone's rights, not even today. It's the states themselves that would be doing that part, not the supreme court. All they did today was get rid of a bad ruling that never should have been made in the first place. A

And ask any actual conservative if attacking queer people is a good thing. Make a post saying it's we should kill all gay people and how much you hate gay people, no one is going to support that. But I've seen the same post with hundreds, thousands of upvotes just replace "Gay" with "white" or "male" or "conservatives"

I and all my fellow conservatives are against attacking gay people. And do not condone such actions.

Today was a big win for protecting life and the rights of the unborn, I hope it's only the beginning.

If it's a choice between being complicit in a few attacks against people (which I am not complicit or supportive of that) or being complicit in the genocide of millions of unborn babies. The choice is clear.

Do people have a right to access gender-affirming care to transition? Do people have a right to use facilities according to their gender identity? Do people have a right to contraception? Do people have a right to have homosexual sex, or have a same-sex marriage?

Who are you suggesting pays for these things? And are you talking from a moral, federal, or state standpoint?

It's not about funding, though. Griswold in 1965 ruled that married couples had a right to use contraceptives. Using the bathroom costs no money. Having gay sex doesn't cost money. I think typically couples pay for their own weddings. Clarence Thomas wants the rights of these folks to be determined at the mercy of the state governments.

Possibly because many view this immoral practice? I would personally love to give more power to the states regarding this. If gay couples want to partake in these practices, they can move to a state that welcomes them. But if a state does not want to live with perversion in the streets, they can create a community that embraces a traditional value system. This is the beauty of a state system. Everyone can get their way.

There is always going to be LGBTQ people in every community. You're a ghoul. You're literally talking about limiting the rights of others which you complain so much about when it isn't in your favor.

Am I saying I'm gonna go personally kick them out?? No. Am i saying the state should round up all non-straight people and ship em off? No!! Do I know gay people? Yes!!! Am I mean to them or judge them? Absolutely not. No matter the mental issues people have, they are still worthy of my love and respect. But do you know the statistics for AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases for LGBTQ people? It is extremely high. Disproportionately overwhelming. Having perverse practices in community endangers the whole community. That is not something that is good for the people as a whole. So on these grounds, giving individual states the choice of whether they want homosexual practices to happen in their state is not a racist, sexist, or whathaveyouist practice. People can think they are whatever they want to be without engaging in dangerous, disease transmitting acts. That's my bit.

You can’t tell me you believe in freedom
If you think states should be able to decide whether two consenting adults can have sex.

Then why is it any business of the state?
1 up, 2y
Because people should be able to decide which traditional values to promote in their state. This should not be protected on a federal level.

fax. censorship should be censored.
2 ups, 2y
Except for contraception, none of those practices result in the death of a human being.
